About
I believe that education can change lives, both for our students and their families. I love how we serve many first-generation college students, and I believe that many of them will be the change we need to see in our justice system.
Dr. Lloyd Chia started his academic journey as a struggling student in Singapore. Defying expectations, he made it through college, and then decided to pursue his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.
After completing his doctorate, he taught courses in criminal justice and sociology, before taking up this position as Associate Professor and Program Director of Criminology at 成人直播.
Dr. Chia seeks to build a curriculum that will impart the practices of restorative justice and peacemaking, to equip students to reform the justice system.
He has a passion for his family, being out in nature, and for seeing his students graduate and thrive after graduating.
